# Philosophy

A recurring theme in our Alture projects is making things that are :

* **useful**
* **accessible**
* **technically interesting**
* **visually polished**
* preferably free when they can reasonably be **free**
* made because there is an **actual problem to solve**

This is especially visible in our Projects.

We also care a lot about the product actually being good rather than simply trying to maximize numbers.

Design is surprisingly **important to Alture**.

We don't say a project is finished **when it's working but when it's clean**, **usable** and **enjoyable for the user**.
